But which digital solutions are target-oriented and can help to meet the current challenges of healthcare? Our research in this area focuses on the development of innovative technology solutions for use in care as well as the design of mobile systems to improve patient care and training support in the field of rehabilitation. To ensure the successful integration of subsequent digital solutions into everyday care, we address the use of digital systems as early as the training stage. For example, mixed reality approaches have been developed for the training of rescue workers and nursing staff as part of skills labs.
