Abstract
In this paper we present a small-scale explorative study on the role of web communities for teachers. The study centers around discourses on digital interactive media by teachers who engage in the largest online discussion forum for teachers in Germany. This community is used as an example to show that teachers not only exchange information and material online, but also look for ways of adapting to the challenges of the ever-accelerating development of digital interactive media.
