The ALS Portal is the central management system for all application modules of the Ambient Learning Spaces (ALS). The applications can be configured via the ALS portal. Content can be loaded into ALS (upload) or saved from there to other devices (download). The media can be edited using the editors integrated in ALS such as ImageEdit, VideoEdit or 3DEdit. VideoEdit is a very easy to use web-based tool. With VideoEdit you can create new videos from one or more existing videos, photos, and sound files. Since VideoEdit is part of the framework NEMO, the videos are automatically provided in different resolutions in the necessary compression and directly integrated into all ALS applications.

For the ALS-EduGames the GameCreator was developed. It is accessed via the ALS-Portal. Currently integrated into the ALS Portal are the cooperative learning games AlgoFrogs and SpelLit. Teachers (or in the case of AlgoFrogs, children from the 3rd grade onwards) can use the GameCreator to independently modify game rounds or create new game rounds.
